This summer, the Living Sisu Hockey League delivered its biggest season yet, on the ice and in our community. From sold-out nights to kids meeting their heroes at rinkside, every moment pointed back to why we do this: to raise money and awareness for the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation.
Our Three Goals—Achieved
-
High-performance environment: We created a professional setting where athletes could train at the highest level on small ice at elite pace.
-
Accessibility for fans: We kept it affordable—under $15—so the next generation could watch their idols from just a few meters away.
-
Impact for a cause: Most importantly, we rallied our community to support pancreatic cancer research and awareness.

A Summer of Star Power
This season featured some of the game’s most inspiring names, including Marie-Philip Poulin, Nick Suzuki, Ivan Demidov, Patrik Laine, Tyler Toffoli, Laura Stacey, and Ann-Renée Desbiens, among many others. Their presence elevated the competition, inspired young players in the stands, and helped shine a brighter light on our cause.

First Year With La Poche Bleue—And a Win
We’re proud to mark a successful first year with our streaming partner, La Poche Bleue. Together, we brought LSHL action to even more fans, families, and supporters at home—expanding our reach and our impact.

The Result: Real Dollars, Real Hope
Thanks to ticket profits, online donations, and on-site contributions, we raised over $20,026 this season. Every dollar helps fund research, awareness, and support for families affected by pancreatic cancer. It’s because of our players, fans, partners, volunteers, and donors that we can make a meaningful difference.
From everyone at the LSHL—merci encore! If you’d like to keep the momentum going, consider supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation and sharing this story with a friend. Together, we’re turning summer hockey into lasting impact.
