Why We Created the LSHL Club
Six seasons of the LSHL with NHL and PWHL players taught us that the experience matters as much as the hockey. The LSHL Club gives that same experience to business people: a private club, on the same ice, where conversations start.
Since 2021, the LSHL has been putting pros on the ice every summer in Montreal. The LSHL Club takes that same experience and gives it to business people, one Friday morning at a time.
It starts with the LSHL
In 2021, coming out of the pandemic, we launched the LSHL with a simple idea: keep professional players in shape over the summer, in Montreal, in a real league setting. The first season was played five-on-five at Place Bell.
The following year, everything changed scale. We moved to 3x3, we settled in at Hockey Etcetera, and we launched the women's division. Since then, NHL players and PWHL players have shared the same ice, in two divisions run the same way: same production, same coverage, same standard.
In 2023, the league's videos passed millions of views and the media came on board. In 2025, La Poche Bleue became our official broadcast partner. Six seasons later, the LSHL has become a reference: a summer league the players themselves look forward to.
What we learned along the way is that the experience matters as much as the hockey. The locker room, the jersey hanging in your stall, the photos and the video the same night. That is what makes a professional player come back.
The idea behind the Club
We asked ourselves a question. If that experience brings pros back every summer, why keep it for the pros?
The LSHL Club was born from that question. Same ice, same locker room, same standard, but for a different crowd: business owners, advisors, artists, comedians, media people, and former professional players. A private club, on the same ice as the pros, with a networking event every week. The place where conversations start, and can lead to plenty of opportunities.
Twenty Friday mornings, October through March. A 3x3 game, then breakfast at the rink. And since the lineups change from week to week, you never play with the same people two Fridays in a row.
Why around hockey
Sport carries values you find everywhere in the working world: effort, respect, discipline, trust in your teammates. Those are not slogans. They are things you see on the ice in sixty minutes.
And that is exactly what interested us. After a good game, you know someone's personality. You know how they react when things go wrong, whether they make the pass or hold on to the puck, whether they talk to the goalie after a goal. Those are traits that take months to discover in a boardroom. Here, you see them before you make a deal, not after.
Hockey brings people together like nothing else. A conversation does not go the same way after a game. The pass you made to your teammate comes back up at breakfast, right after, at the rink. The contact is already made. All that is left is to keep going.
That is why the Club is not a networking cocktail with hockey on the side. It is the other way around. Hockey first, and the network that comes with it.
The pro experience, no compromise
We kept everything that makes the LSHL what it is.
One of the best rinks in town, Hockey Etcetera, in Mont-Royal. An all-wood locker room, with a TV, laundry service, and your jersey hanging in your stall before you arrive. A jersey fitted like the pros, your socks, the tape and skate sharpening, all provided. You bring your equipment, nothing else.
Sixty minutes of 3x3 on two sheets, with referees, a timekeeper and an official scoresheet. Photos and video, like the pros, published on the Club's social media and in the app, along with your statistics. Something to show your friends and family, as if you were playing with the pros.
Then the continental breakfast, at the rink, right after the game. That is where the week really plays out.

The season
Twenty Fridays, from October 9, 2026 to March 19, 2027, at Hockey Etcetera. Games at 8:30 and 8:45 AM, sixty minutes of ice, then breakfast. Four teams, playoffs, and a cup with the champion team's name engraved on it.
