Make Your Move is the most exciting hockey tournament of the summer: shootouts only!
Build your team with 4 skilled players and 1 goalie, and battle through 10 rounds of shootouts per game (40 total). Pure fun, no complicated strategies!
U13 : 2012-2014
The U13 category is for players born in 2012-2013-2014, regardless of the level they play. Participants must be fully dressed in hockey gear to take part.
U15 : 2010-2011
The U15 category is for players born in 2010-2011, regardless of the level they play. Participants must be fully dressed in hockey gear to take part.
U18 : 2007-2009
The U18 category is for players born in 2007-2008-2009, regardless of the level they play. Participants must be fully dressed in hockey gear to take part.
Adult : 2006 or earlier
Adult Category
Open to players born in 2006 or earlier who have not played high-level or elite hockey in the last 5 years. Eligibility will be verified, and we may consult Eliteprospects.com. Players who have played fewer than 5 games in those calibers over the past 5 years are eligible.
Not Eligible for This Category:
- Midget: Any midget category, except for exceptions like Midget BB or lower.
- Junior: Junior A (outside Québec), Collegial D1/D2, Junior AA, Junior AAA, CHL, or similar elite levels. Junior A in Québec is allowed.
- Senior: Senior A, Senior AA, Senior AAA, LNAH, professional leagues, etc. (Recreational/garage leagues are eligible).
- Professional Players: Any professional players (Europe, NHL, AHL, etc.) who have played within the last 15 years.
Open: Open to all players
Open to players born in 2006 or earlier, regardless of skill level or experience. This category welcomes everyone—from NHL players and Junior A athletes to senior league and recreational/garage league players. Compete in the highest caliber of the tournament and showcase your skills against the best!

1. How does the tournament work?
Get ready for non-stop action! Each team competes in a round-robin format followed by intense playoffs, just like a regular tournament.
Here’s the breakdown:
- Each game consists of 10 rounds of 8 shootouts (4 per team).
- Four players from your team take on the opposing goalie, then it’s the other team’s turn.
- Repeat this 10 times, and you’ve got yourself a full, fast-paced game!
