The Living Sisu Hockey League season ended with a true offensive showcase. In front of a fired-up crowd, Manmade faced Be Healthy Love Berry for the league title.
Right from the start, goaltender Marilou Grenier shined with spectacular saves, including a memorable sequence where she stopped a breakaway from Marie-Philip Poulin, earning applause from Ann-Renée Desbiens.

The intensity was immediate: goals came one after another on both sides. Despite Be Healthy Love Berry taking the lead late in the first period, Poulin once again showed her talent by tying the game 4–4 before the intermission.
In the second period, Poulin lifted the crowd again with her third goal, while Laura Stacey distinguished herself with outstanding defensive play. Jade Downie-Landry tied the game 5–5, but Stacey quickly restored Manmade’s lead.
In the third period, Poulin scored her fourth goal of the game, giving her team a decisive advantage. Despite a late push from Be Healthy Love Berry, Manmade controlled the closing minutes, pulling away to seal a 9–6 victory.
With this triumph, Manmade is crowned the 2025 LSHL champion.

A Consolation Final Worthy of a Grand Final
The last week of the LSHL kicked off with a thrilling battle between Rénobrio and Accent Assurances, two teams determined to finish on a high note by securing third place in the overall standings. Although it was a consolation final, the intensity on the ice and in the stands felt like a championship clash. Fans, who showed up in large numbers for the final night of the 2025 women’s division, were treated to a game full of twists and turns.
After a fast-paced opening filled with end-to-end rushes, it was Maureen Murphy who electrified the arena by opening the scoring with a brilliant breakaway capped by a backhand deke.
Murphy, a constant offensive threat, wasn’t done—she added two more goals to complete a hat trick and keep her team in contention. On the other side, Alexandra Labelle also impressed, tying the game 4–4 late in the second period with a precise top-shelf shot.

In the third, Accent Assurances goaltender Jordyn Verbeek stood tall against Rénobrio’s relentless attacks, keeping her team alive until the end of regulation. After 45 minutes, nothing was settled: 6–6, sending the game to a shootout.
It was ultimately Alexandra Labelle who sealed the outcome with the lone shootout goal. Rénobrio emerged victorious to claim third place in the 2025 LSHL—a win that perfectly capped off their summer campaign.
