It’s a little one-syllable word that touches countless aspects of our lives. Sports. Sometimes you don’t know where to start. But no matter where you are at considering sports, it’s worth considering. Here are three reasons why I urge you to take up sports.
1. Develop a good lifestyle
By practicing sports, you will develop a healthy lifestyle. First of all, you will be in good shape, and you will be able to fight off heart disease, various infections such as the flu, and other conditions. You will have more energy to start your day, and if you are a student, you will have better concentration in your studies.

2. Maintain good morale
Mental health is essential for everyone’s proper daily functioning. When your mental state is in bad shape, it can lead to several conditions such as depression, fatigue, insomnia, etc. If you practice a simple sporting activity regularly, your mental health will be in better shape, and believe me, that does a lot of good. As the Creole Company says in one of its songs, “It’s good for morale!”

3. Promote social bonding
Who says playing sports is not fun? When you play sports, you have fun because you continuously take on challenges, big or small. And in doing so, you make new friendships that last a lifetime. In Finnish, the terms Sissulla ja sydämellä mean sisu and heart. If you have the right attitude, you can achieve your goals. You not only have to show Sisu when playing sports, but the attitude of the heart has to be present as well.

Not only do sports allow you to have a good lifestyle and to feel good about yourself. They are great fun and give you the privilege of meeting new people and making new connections. At Living Sisu, we advocate for three pillars, one of them being activation. At our events, we’ll provide you with plenty of tips and advice that will help you activate your lifestyle. In closing, here are some of our partners who specialize in training as well as our events page.
