We are proud to announce that Brigitte Thibault, an aspiring pro golfer, is the Living SISU athlete of the month of May!
From Rosemère, Qc, she developed a love for golf that has brought her all the way to the NCAA Women’s Golf circuit. In early May, on the back of a great season, she punched her ticket to the 2021 NCAA Women’s Golf National Championship which was played at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. on May 21-26.
Brigitte competes for Fresno State University in California. She made history for her school when she became the first to advance to this championship.
Challenges are part of sport and in everyday life, this is her response when asked about what has fueled her to get to such a high level:
‘’There has been so many challenges that happened in the last month and a half, I feel like they helped me get the right mindset and get dialed in. It is important for me not to compare myself to others and just focus on my game. Doing the proper work to get the results I want.’’
The 22 year old wants to turn Pro in the next year if she can. With all the hard work she has put in and overcoming challenges, the Living Sisu team has no doubt she will accomplish her goals!
Congratulations Brigitte and see you on the LPGA circuit very soon!
The Living SISU team.
