The word Sisu originates from Finland. It encompasses many terms such as perseverance, courage, determination, tenacity, and so on. Here are a few lines on how you can demonstrate Sisu in your everyday life.

PERSEVERE

We all face hardships in our lives, but we must not allow ourselves to be overcome by them. It doesn’t matter whether you have difficulty in school or a sport; above all, do not give up because it is by repeatedly getting up that you can move forward.

BE DETERMINED

Do you want to get a position for your dream job? Do you want to be part of your school sports team or maybe even the national team? Maintain a good attitude and stay firm in your intentions. Failure will never overtake you if your determination is strong enough.

SHOW COURAGE

In times of turmoil and uncertainty, one must be brave, valiant, and fearless. Sometimes, you will have to take risks that might scare you. If you don’t try, you won’t know if you made the right decision. On the other hand, be careful not to throw yourself into experiences that could harm you. It’s up to you to decide if the risk is worth the reward.
